Here's what we were working with - bare dirt, patchy dead grass, zero curb appeal, and a brand new home that deserved better. New construction properties are tough because builders hand off a house and leave the yard as an afterthought. That's exactly where we came in.

We laid fresh Palisades Zoysia sod across the entire yard. This isn't just any grass. Zoysia is a heavy-hitter for this region - it handles heat, drought, and heavy foot traffic better than most turf varieties. The difference between a yard full of dead, patchy growth and a thick, uniform green lawn is night and day. We graded and prepped the soil first so the sod had a clean base to root into.

We also put in paver walkways - clean square stepping stones leading from the front porch out across the yard. That kind of detail keeps foot traffic off your new grass while it's establishing, and it gives the property a finished, intentional look. On top of that, we installed rock beds with clean metal edging along the front of the house. The edging keeps everything crisp and keeps mulch and rock from migrating into your lawn over time.

One of the more unique pieces of this job - we covered the storm shelter with sod too. It blends right into the yard instead of sitting there like an eyesore. That's the kind of problem-solving that comes from doing this work every day. Every detail on a property like this matters, and we treat it that way.

The before and after here is hard to argue with. Bare, compacted dirt on every side of the house, and now a clean, green yard with defined beds, solid walkways, and sod that's already taking hold. That's what a full landscaping build-out looks like when it's done right.
